Boise trip--I love my family!

Adam and I went to Boise the weekend of Oct. 20, partly because of the District III Marching Band Competition I was in when I was in high school (nerd alert, I know!), but mostly to see my wonderful family! It was so fun. We hung out, took family pictures and carved pumpkins. It was much too short, but so fun.
P.S. Didn't the pumpkins turn out amazing? The Gators suck and the Gatorade pics are part of a way funny inside joke story. :)
P.P.S. I'm not a blog expert, so some of the alignment is screwed up!

Short hair!

I chopped all of my hair off! Well, almost--15 inches. Anyone who knows me has probably only known me with long hair. It has always been long. I don't really know what inspired me to cut it--partly the 10 minutes it took to brush through it when it was wet, possibly the million pounds it weighed since it was so thick and long--whatever the reason, I'm so glad I did it! I am loving having short hair!

Update on our life!

Hello everyone! I love this whole blog craze and thought I would finally join in. :) Our lives are pretty ordinary, but we still try to keep life exciting! We are living here in Rexburg for now. I graduated from
BYU-Idaho in April with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and a minor in Music. It's so crazy to be done with school! And, believe it or not, I actually miss it. :( But I keep busy working full time at Yellowstone Hotel Systems as a Production Associate here in town. It's such a great job, and I am very lucky to have it!

Adam is finishing up his last week of school--he graduates Friday! He's very excited to be done. But he only gets a little break because he's starting his online graduate degree in Fraud Management in January from Utica College in New York. He is the manager of our apartment complex, University Village, which is a really great job. So he'll continue school and we'll both keep working until he's done (probably around the end of 2009). And then we'll be off to somewhere! Never thought we'd be in Rexburg for this long, but it's a great place to be. So that's what's going on with us! We hope everyone is doing well. Feel free to visit our blog often--we'll try to keep it somewhat exciting! And if you have a blog, let me know--we can be blog buddies. :)
