"The call"

Guess what? I was just set apart as the new Relief Society president in our ward, and I just have to say that I am so grateful and excited. It can be a scary thing, but more than anything, I really am just looking forward to it--mainly thanks to the awesome sisters in our ward who I know will be my friends even though I won't quite know what I'm doing at first. :)

Love you all! Thanks for your support. :)

Wow! I was wondering who the new President was going to be. Are you guys moving anytime soon? For some reason I thought you were. I'm glad you guys will still be there when we get back in August! Good luck with everything, the task can be daunting, but you'll do great, get good counselors and sec. I'm sure you will! We have a great ward!

I would love to be in a RS with you as the president. Talk about the perfect calling for you. You will be great at making the sisters feel welcomed and loved. Sometimes I really miss that ward but then I remember that we just miss our friends back there. Good luck!

Good luck! It is very challenging but extremely rewarding and the absolute best way to meet and get to know every sister in the ward. You will be awesome!

I'm so excited for you! And for us haha! Jana and I were sitting next to each other in church on Sunday when you got released from your calling and we said, "she isn't moving is she?" "oooooh! She's so gonna be the new RS President!" We were right! You will do amazing. Everyone already just loves you and all the new sisters will too!

Hi Kathryn, you don't really know me, um I knew Adam in college though but I was on Lanelle's blog, she's best friends with my old roommate, and saw a comment you made and Ririe caught my eye so I went and looked on your blog. Sorry hope you don't mind. I really enjoyed reading your blog and reading comments that people have wrote about you and how you and Adam met and dated and everything. It made me smile just to see how happy and wonderful and perfect you two are together. I just really think you sound like an amazing woman, one that I know I would really look up too and I know that you are the kind of person I would really value as a friend. I can tell that you are going to be such a wonderful Relief Society President and that you will touch so many people, and that you are already touching people's lives from the sound of it on Lanelle's blog. If you don't mind I would like to add you as a friend on my blog. If not you can just tell me too, i'd understand =)
